TRACTOR SALT SPREADER DESIGN

Hilltip IceStriker™ 12V electric tractor salt spreaders is made out of a lightweight poly hopper body and in stainless steel. The components provides you protection against corrosion and rust. Our spreader and it’s control system helps you save money and reduce the impact on the environment. While achieving the same de-icing results as before!.

LIQUID DE-ICING FUNCTIONS

The tractor salt spreader can easily be transformed into a brine sprayer or into a combi- spreader. Integrated tanks in the double walled hopper holds up to 87 gallons of liquid. The spreader is optionally equipped with a 6’7″ spray bar and a hose reel with hand-held spray nozzle.

HTRACK™ TRACKING SYSTEM

This sand & salt spreader is compatible with our standard HTrack™ tracking software. You can track and manage all of your spreading devices and snowplows online on your computer, tablet or smartphone. The program shows treatment routes and spreading details on the map in real-time or between specific time intervals. Spreading route details such as speed, GPS location, and material used can be summarized and generated as PDF reports.

You can reduce the salt usage with up to 30% with the optional liquid pre-wet system, and by 75% when using salt brine solution as de-icing method! This is direct savings for you and the environment.

FUNCTIONS AND ACCESSORIES

COLOR SCREEN CONTROLLER

Tailor your spreading session to your needs with the customizable controller. The automatic GPS speed control adjusts the amount of spreading material (lbs/1000 sq ft) according to your vehicle speed, while manual mode lets you insert a fixed auger speed. The controller additionally collects and saves essential data to a USB memory, allowing you to generate spreading reports. The controller also allow you to turn on functions, like the vibrator, beacon and work light, from inside the cabin.

INVERTED V

Inverted-V helps reduce heavy start-up loads on the auger. All in stainless steel.

VIBRATOR

Vibrator prevents bridging and de-icing material from clogging by shaking the inverted Vee.

AUGER

The 2.5″ stainless steel auger gives you an even flow of material to the spinner.

TOP SCREEN

Top screen prevents rocks and big material chunks from getting into the hopper.
